# Intelligent Pegging & Reservation Automation

Reserves available inventory or recommends pegging future supply to fulfill customer orders.

#### Overview

Extracts customer order, part, and quantity details from incoming requests and checks inventory availability in IFS Cloud. When inventory is available, it identifies suitable Shop Order supply, recommends pegging quantities, and executes the approved pegging allocation after human confirmation.

#### Business Challenge

Planners manually determine whether customer demand should be fulfilled using current inventory or future incoming supply.
