# Intelligent Part Number Matching & Part Creation

Matches supplier part numbers to existing ERP parts or creates new part records when needed.

#### Overview

Extracts and normalizes part information from supplier documents, then checks whether the Sales Part already exists in IFS Cloud. Existing parts are returned without duplication; when no match is found, the user selects whether to create an Inventory or Non-Inventory Sales Part using predefined ERP defaults.

#### Business Challenge

Supplier part numbers often differ from ERP part numbers, requiring significant manual effort to identify existing parts or create new records.
